Universitas Negeri Semarang
Abstract
Indonesia, as a diverse nation, often experiences clashes regarding diversity in life. The culturally embedded concept of divinity is believed to serve as a driving force in supporting religious moderation in Indonesia. This concept is crucial in the context of religious pluralism in Indonesia, a country with diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. This study adopts a qualitative approach through literature review referencing both national and international journals indexed in Scopus. The research findings indicate that maintaining harmony among religious communities, religious moderation serves as a strong foundation. Culturally embedded divinity refers to an understanding of cultural and religious diversity that is a noble heritage of the Indonesian nation. Through this understanding, it is hoped that society can appreciate differences and strengthen tolerance among religious communities. This article also explores the implementation of culturally embedded divinity in public policies and efforts to strengthen interfaith dialogue in Indonesia, as well as the public perception of moderate attitudes. The research trend on religious moderation in Indonesia indicates that it is still very low. Thus, it is concluded that a profound understanding of this concept can strengthen the foundation of religious harmony and unity amidst Indonesia^s diversity.

Pendidikan Sejarah Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta
Abstract
National and global awareness regarding increasingly diverse world conditions is still an interesting issue in education, especially with history learning which discusses past events. This article aims to reveal the values of multiculturalism in high school history textbooks in the independent curriculum. The method used is content analysis of history textbooks used in high school classes x to xii based on the independent curriculum. The results of this research show that multicultural values such as tolerance, democracy, and recognition of equality are found in factual material in history books, especially in classes XI and XII. However, the history textbooks used in class X show a lack of integration of multiculturalism values because the material is mostly about historical concepts. From the research results, it can be concluded that the value of multiculturalism in textbooks is still not evenly distributed in every material in history textbooks and need more example on history context to enrich multiculturalism value in concept materials.

Work Family Balance for Women Teachers In Vocational Schools in Jakarta and Seribu Islands Region Vania Zulfa, Nadiroh, Uswatun Hasanah, Muhammad Faesal
Universitas Negeri Jakarta
Abstract
Researchers see various problems that occur, especially among female teach-ers, where as married women, having a career is a choice. As career women, female teachers must balance family life and work, and must be able to manage conflicts that occur within their families and work. So that the fami-ly becomes a support system for career continuity in the work. This research was conducted using a quantitative method (survey) using the AHP (Analyt-ical Hierarchy Process) method. The results of this research show that based on the results of Pearson correlation analysis, there is a significant positive relationship between Work Family Balance (WFB) and Teacher Performance. This shows that the higher the teacher^s WFB level, the higher the teacher^s performance. The Pearson correlation value is 0.42, which indicates a fairly strong relationship. Based on the results of linear regression analysis, the fol-lowing regression equation is obtained: Teacher Performance = 72.5 + 0.8 * WFB. This equation shows that every increase of one unit of WFB will in-crease Teacher Performance by 0.8 points. Based on the results of the ANOVA analysis, there are significant differences in average teacher perfor-mance between groups of teachers with different WFB levels. This shows that teachers with a high level of WFB have higher teacher performance than teachers with a low level of WFB.

Abstract
Public participation is one of the key factors for the success of decentralization and regional autonomy. The creation of Regional Regulations (Perda) driven by political interests rather than public interests will undermine the spirit of autonomy aimed at fostering democracy at the regional level. Regional Regulations are part of the legislative framework in Indonesia, as stipulated in Law No. 12 of 2011 on the Formation of Legislation. The formation of Regional Regulations requires public input to ensure that the regulations are responsive and accountable, thereby preventing conflicts within the community. The purpose of this research is to analyze the importance of realizing meaningful public participation in the formation of Regional Regulations in Indonesia. Research Method: This study employs a qualitative research method with a legislative and conceptual approach. Secondary data was collected through literature review and analyzed through data display, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The research findings highlight that ensuring meaningful participation in the formation of Regional Regulations is essential because, in general, every regulation must meet both formal and material requirements as stipulated by law. Specifically, as citizens, individuals have the right to be heard, the right to have their opinions considered, and the right to receive explanations or responses to their input. This research can contribute to the creation of responsive and accountable Regional Regulations that align with community needs and regional development, and provide recommendations to stakeholders for establishing clear and transparent regulations on forms of public participation.

Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang
Abstract
This study emphasizes the importance of changes in higher education towards the concept of ^Merdeka Belajar^ in Indonesia, focusing on a case study of the PPKn Study Program. This concept offers flexibility to students to organize their educational paths according to their interests and talents. The purpose of this study is to examine the strategies implemented by universities in realizing ^Merdeka Belajar^ and to identify the obstacles that arise in this change process. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews with heads of study programs, lecturers, and students from various PPKn Study Programs in Indonesia. The analysis aims to assess the strategies implemented and identify the obstacles that arise. The results show that the strategies used by several universities in implementing Independent Learning are very diverse. Various methods used are direct socialization to students, socialization to student organizations, inviting alumni participants of Independent Learning to share experiences with their juniors, and speeches from leaders during seminars and public lectures. Another strategy is to invite representatives from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology to present the Independent Learning program. Thus, this becomes a more sustainable education policy, and helps improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia to be more in line with the needs of the times. This study provides deeper insight into the process of higher education transformation in Indonesia, and contributes to improving the quality and relevance of higher education in facing global challenges and overcoming the problem of learning loss in Indonesia.

Exploring Gender Bias: How Primary School Textbooks Strengthen Inequality for Women Fatmariza (a)-Ikhlasiah Dalimunthe (b)-Rika Febriani (c)
(a,c) Social and Political Science Department, Universitas Negeri Padang
(b) Sociology Department, Universitas Negeri Jakarta
Abstract
Gender bias in elementary school textbooks in Indonesia still needs intense attention because gender bias continues even though curriculum changes have occurred. Gender bias will shape students^ perceptions and attitudes towards gender roles, especially if teachers do not try to criticize them. Textbooks, which are one of the main media in the educational process, play an important role in shaping children^s initial views regarding gender and social roles. This study uses qualitative methods through document analysis in the form of elementary school textbooks, and in-depth interviews with several teachers. Analysis was carried out on gender representation in elementary school textbooks, the frequency and context of the appearance of male and female characters, as well as the roles and activities depicted, the position of men and women in certain roles, as well as expressions in describing men and women in sentences. The findings show that there is a significant imbalance in gender representation, where men are often depicted in dominant and active, leader, intelligent, knowledgeable roles, while women are often placed in secondary or stereotypical roles. The implications of this bias include the reinforcement of gender stereotypes, reduced opportunities for girls to identify with a wider range of roles, and the potential negative impact on children^s developmental attitudes and aspirations. This research calls for the need to revise textbook writing that is more inclusive and freer from gender bias, as well as building gender sensitivity in elementary school teachers to support gender equality from an early age.

Abstract
This research aims to analyze the implementation of civic governance principles in educational policies in Garut Regency as an effort towards good governance. Civic governance, which emphasizes active community participation in the policymaking process, transparency, and public accountability, is an important concept in achieving good governance. A qualitative approach was used in this research, with data obtained through direct observation, interviews with education stakeholders, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and analysis of relevant policy documents. Additional data was gathered from media sources and literature studies. The research results indicate that the implementation of civic governance in education policy in Garut Regency still faces various challenges, such as the lack of effective community participation and limited access to public information related to education policies. Nevertheless, there are several positive initiatives from the local government to enhance public engagement through discussion forums and to improve transparency in the management of education. By strengthening the application of civic governance principles, Garut Regency can realize a more inclusive, transparent, and accountable education management system, thereby contributing to the improvement of education quality and the achievement of good governance.

Manado State University
Abstract
High Demand Thinking Ability is a thinking process that expects students to be able to control data and thoughts in a certain way so as to provide new understanding and advice. The model is when students combine reality and thinking during the time spent combining, concluding, understanding, estimating and analysing, finally students come to the final result. The testing approach used by the creator is to explain subjective exploration, because this testing is unmistakeable. This exploration is an interaction that will provide a comprehensive picture due to subjective examination. Considering the result of perception, then the educator has asked questions according to the marker with the existing learning objectives, the questions are made using words that are easy to understand by students so that students can do the questions. Students can think fundamentally when there is a debate in class so that they can convey and determine a problem well without taking sides with one party. Judging from the results of learning and conversation, PPKN subjects use the HOTS approach but not all materials because each student has a different capacity so that the teacher assesses through the article questions made from the material. The education system in Indonesia is described with an emphasis on citizenship training which is expected to show students about the nation and its privileges.

Jl. R.Mangun Muka Raya No.11, RT.11/RW.14, Rawamangun, Kec. Pulo Gadung, Kota Jakarta Timur, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 13220
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the dynamics of Indonesian democracy after the new order using Jurgen Habermas deliberative democracy perspective, including- Discourse Ethics, Political Public Space, and Popular Discourse Sovereignty. This research is focused on discussing the governments of Habibie, SBY, and Jokowi. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. The data sources that researchers use are primary and secondary data sources, where primary data includes: books, journals, and news papers, while secondary sources were obtained through in-depth interviews using the deep elaborate technique. The results of the study findings showed that there was a Habibie era, democracy experienced a revival due to openness in all aspects that provide public space for the community and the absorbment of public deliberation as a policy consideration. In the SBY era, Indonesia^s democracy stagnated due to the phenomenon of high-cost democracy, half the openness of political publicsphere, as well as the institutionalization of state institutions and less maximal opposition in support of climate democratization efforts in full. In the Jokowi era, democracy regressed with the emergence of various phenomena that threatened political publicsphere and public deliberation, such as the use of coercive instruments against government opposition, the formation of cartelism and very strong political oligarchy, and the stagnation of public deliberation of citizens in the arena of political publicsphere. This is a phenomenon of post-new order democracy and has implications for the return of authoritarian rule in democracies.

Universitas Negeri Jakarta
Abstract
In addition to schools, families also have an important role in creating high-quality education that will support students^ personal growth. To achieve meaningful learning goals in the classroom and improve teaching standards, teachers need to participate in professional development activities. This is where pedagogical attention goes into providing leadership examples, direction, supervision and leadership to ensure that best practices are followed and quality education requirements are met. The higher one^s education and diploma, the higher one^s income and of course, the more socially mature one is in the community, allowing individuals to experience vertical social mobility. Rural communities that are still thick with culture and lack of interest in education mostly experience static education and do not prioritize education so that their standard of living does not develop. The research method used is to use a qualitative method with a literature study and use a descriptive approach.
