INDONESIAN POLITICAL PLURALITY: RELIGION, CULTURE AND SOCIAL CLASS

Abstract

Political plurality of Indonesia is a phenomenon that shows the many different political groups that have a significant influence on political life in Indonesia. This article discusses Indonesia political diversity in the context of religion, culture, social class, freedom of opinion in democracy in Indonesia in actual terms and presents comprehensively with an in-depth analysis of it. This type of approach in scientific articles uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method whose data is sourced from books, articles, previous research, and relevant reports related to the topic of discussion. The results of this article show that there is political polarization and politicization in the perspective of religion, culture and social class of the community which is a tendentious national political dynamics and it can influence first-time voters. The final conclusion of the article shows that there is political diversity in the state that allows for political expression and participation from various groups.
