Abstract
Democracy, as one of the most ancient decision-making practices, has evolved significantly, particularly with the advent of the digital era. A recent development in this evolution is liquid democracy, a practice that seeks to balance direct and indirect democratic principles by enabling voters to delegate and withdraw their votes at will. This approach differs from traditional electoral systems employed by political parties and states, promising heightened openness and inclusivity in political decision-making. However, the potential for manipulation through digital propaganda raises ethical concerns, particularly regarding the dilution of individual agency. This study employs a historical-factual analysis method, utilizing Jurgen Habermas perspective on ethical discourse to examine the ethical dilemmas arising from the implementation of liquid democracy in digital society. The analysis focuses on how Habermas concept of public reason can be integrated into the framework of liquid democracy to ensure ethical and transparent democratic processes. The analysis reveals that while liquid democracy offers opportunities for greater inclusivity and public participation, it also presents significant risks related to the manipulation of information through digital platforms. Habermas discourse ethics provides a robust procedural framework that can address these ethical challenges, ensuring that public reason prevails in the practice of liquid democracy. The findings suggest that incorporating ethical discourse into the practice of liquid democracy can mitigate the risks associated with digital propaganda and enhance the integrity of democratic processes in the digital age. The study highlights the importance of establishing procedural safeguards to maintain the balance between openness and the protection of individual agency in a liquid democratic system.

Universitas Negeri Jakarta
Abstract
The lack of digital literacy within society needs to be addressed. This deficiency makes individuals more susceptible to being influenced by fake news, hoaxes, or misinformation. The spread of false news, hoaxes, or misinformation occurs throughout the day, especially as presidential elections, where individuals compete to gain the public^s support. This study aims to measure the level of digital literacy among students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, in relation to the 2024 Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections. This study employs quantitative approach that assesses the dimensions of digital literacy, namely socio-emotional skills, information skills, and critical skills. The population of this study consists of all active students of the Faculty of Social Sciences in 2024, with a sample of 98 students selected using cluster random sampling technique. Descriptive tests were conducted for each dimension. The results of the descriptive test show that the information skills dimension has a higher average compared to other dimensions followed by critical skills dimension and socio-emotional skills dimension. This indicates that students already possess a basic ability to understand the information they receive, based on the credibility of sources, the authenticity of information, ethics, and how to verify information. The study also shows that students fairly proficient in determining the amount of information needed and comparing information sources to assess their accuracy. Therefore, based on these findings, it is necessary for students and the public to at least possess information skills to avoid hoaxes.

Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta
Abstract
Trust will influence a person^s choices, including selecting leaders. Therefore, this study wanted to see the influence of student democracy satisfaction on the interest in political involvement. This research utilizes a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population of this research is all students from public and private universities since 2014/2015 who are in all areas of Java, using a proportional random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is directed at testing the hypotheses that have been formulated. The research results from 272 re-spondents among students on the island of Java, and the first hypothesis shows that the t-value is 1.001 < 1.969 and the significance value is 0.318 > 0.05. The second hypothesis shows a t-value of 2.744 > 1.969 and a signifi-cance value of 0.006 < 0.05. The third hypothesis shows an F-count value of 4.212 > 3.049 and a significance value of 0.016 < 0.05. It can be concluded that there is no significant influence on the variable of student trust in gov-ernment and interest in political involvement. In contrast, the variable satis-faction with democracy on interest in political involvement has a significant influence. The influence that satisfaction with democracy has on interest in political involvement is positive. However, student trust in government and satisfaction with democracy influence interest in political involvement. The research results imply that satisfaction with democracy is an essential factor in efforts to increase interest in political involvement. The suggestion that is expected to provide material for consideration is that further research is needed on student satisfaction with democracy to determine student satisfac-tion with democracy.

Abstract
This research evaluates civic education teaching methods in schools located in conflict areas, focusing on the role of education in building peace. The main issue is how education can serve as a mechanism to reduce violence, foster tolerance, and resolve conflicts without violence in conflict-affected areas. Schools often experience significant challenges in conflict areas, including infrastructure disruption, declining enrollment, and disrupted learning environments. The research method used in this article is a qualitative approach with an in-depth literature study. Academic articles, government reports, and policy documents relevant to education and peace were analyzed. The results show that education is essential in peacebuilding, as it provides the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to resolve conflicts fairly and non-violently. Civic education, focusing on citizenship skills, democratic values, and active participation in society, also contributes to creating a culture of peace. In conflict areas, schools serve as a protection mechanism for children, providing psychological support and formal education. Challenges faced include damage to school infrastructure, psychological trauma to students and teachers, and a decline in the quality of education. Efforts to address these challenges include rebuilding infrastructure, providing psychological support, and creating a safe learning environment. Teachers play an important role in peace promotion in schools and must be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach peace education effectively. Policy interventions that support a conducive learning environment are also needed in conflict-affected schools.

Abstract
Civic Education and peace are two interrelated things and both have the fulfillment of the rights of each individual. The relationship between the two is two-way and influences each other, meaning that good citizenship produces good peace and good peace produces good citizens. This article explores the extent to which recent developments in the field of peace education inform the evolution of the field of civic education in Indonesia. This article was compiled using a literature study method, researchers collected data from various sources, such as journals, books, and other relevant references. The results of the study indicate that peace education is one approach to character development that aims to foster a culture of peace through three things, namely (1) encouraging people to reduce violence, (2) encouraging peaceful responses to conflict, and (3) teaching people to be more self-controlled and restrained. A strong understanding of the severity of oppression and the importance of fostering social harmony, especially in the context of educational institutions, can be obtained through civic education learning in responding to diversity. Through civic education, students not only learn about their rights and obligations as citizens, but also understand the importance of living side by side peacefully in a pluralistic society.
