Globalization brings new challenges to international ethics, demanding the adoption of universal principles to maintain peace and cooperation among nations. The main issue at hand is how to apply globally acceptable ethical values while maintaining national cultural identity. Pancasila, as Indonesia^s state ideology, offers five fundamental values of Deity, Humanity, Unity, Democracy, and Social Justice that are universal and relevant in the context of globalization. This study aims to criticize the opportunities and challenges of Pancasila as an alternative to global citizen ethics. This type of study is literature research, qualitative descriptive approach. The object of study is the results of research and thinking about Pancasila as an ideology during globalization in the form of books, articles in accredited journals and research results. Data collection with literature review. The stages of the study formulate the problem, identification and classification of literature, data analysis, and interpretation. The values of Pancasila have truths that are accepted by global citizens. Pancasila has the potential to be a significant ethical alternative for global citizens. However, the main challenge is to ensure that these values remain an integral part of the Indonesian national identity while contributing to the formation of a harmonious global ethic.
