Resistance of Citizens with Disabilities Through the Right to Work in the City of Semarang Universitas Diponegoro Abstract Caring for people with disabilities is legally guaranteed to get 2% of jobs in Indonesia in both the public and private sectors. the reality is still far from expectations, they should have the same rights and position in all areas of life, but in reality there is still a lot of discrimination, injustice, not having a place, not having the same opportunities as others, even though it should be with the limitations they have Both the government and society are paying more attention, one of which is the right to obtain a 2 percent job quota in companies. One of the efforts to provide work rights for people with disabilities in Indonesia is by regulation through regional regulations. The aim of this research is to analyze opportunities to provide work rights for people with disabilities. The method in this research uses qualitative methods, the data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources, primary data is obtained from interviews, secondary data is obtained from documents, journal articles related to people with disabilities. The data obtained will be analyzed using an interactive method consisting of the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that providing rights for people with disabilities in the City of Semarang is not yet optimal because the regional regulations on people with disabilities were only approved in 2022. Fulfilling the rights of people with disabilities in the City of Semarang is still limited to providing job training for people with disabilities, from the results of the training people with disabilities can working in the private sector, the opportunity to get the opportunity to work in the government sector has been regulated in regulations but has not been fulfilled.
