Abstract
Discussion of citizens and their roles and positions is always interesting to discuss, especially if it is associated with the development of citizens^ lives both on a national and global scale, where one is related to the contextualization of cosmopolitan citizens. This contextualization certainly cannot be separated from the accompanying global issues and the will to form humanist citizens as a consequence of cosmopolitan life. This research focuses on the study of humanist citizens in the development of cosmopolitan citizenship by using scoping review studies from various related literature. The results of the research present the conception and development of cosmopolitan citizenship, efforts to build a democratic framework for cosmopolitan citizenship, and the development of humanist citizens armed with the experience of Indonesian social capital.
