Abstract
Social media has become an important platform for youth to express political and social views. The emergence of young activists as young figures who care about democracy adds a new color to the democratic process. Young activists use social media as a tool to voice their idealism, mobilize the masses, and influence political discourse through creative content. This research uses non-participant observation and literature study methods. Observation was conducted by monitoring young activists^ social media accounts on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc. for three months. In addition, literature studies on youth activism and digital democracy were analyzed to enrich the findings. The result of this study is that young activists use social media to create evocative narratives through visual and video content, which successfully attracts the attention of a wide audience and mobilizes the younger generation to care about democracy and politics through creative content. This not only increases political and democratic awareness, but also strengthens the image of youth as idealistic agents of change in democracy.
