Enhacing Civic Participation Through Democratic Voulteer among Millenial Generation: A Political Education Innovation Universitas Negeri Padang Abstract The formation of democracy volunteers as political education facilitators in elections is a new strategy to increase public understanding of elections. So far, the use of facilitators has been dominated by those from the government or political parties. Therefore, this article aims to analyze how the role of democracy volunteers as educators in their communities. The submission from and for the community (peer-group) provides its own uniqueness in the political learning process. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and documentation studies. The results achieved are an overview of the roles, constraints, and potential factors of democracy volunteers as facilitators of political education. The innovations made in political learning provide their own characteristics and attractiveness in terms of learning planning, implementation, and evaluation of training programs. Democracy Volunteers carry out their role as election facilitators in accordance with the demands of their role in socializing elections and instilling political education in each segment of society.
