NEEDS ANALYSIS OF TECHNOLOGICAL PEDAGOGICAL AND CONTENT KNOWLEDGE (TPACK) IN ARABIC LANGUAGE LEARNING

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the needs of Arabic language teachers in applying the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework within the teaching and learning process. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) design using the Dick, Carey & Carey (1990) instructional model, with emphasis on the initial stage, namely the needs analysis, which is approached through the Analysis phase of the ADDIE framework. Data were obtained through questionnaires and structured interviews administered to Arabic teachers from various educational levels. The results show that teachers possess sufficient competence in Content Knowledge (CK) and Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), whereas their Technological Knowledge (TK) and skills in integrating TPACK are still limited. Furthermore, teachers expressed strong demands for hands-on, context-based training, adequate digital infrastructure, and practical guidance to support the implementation of TPACK in Arabic language instruction. These insights serve as an important basis for formulating more focused professional development programs and for improving the quality of Arabic language teaching in today^s digital context.

Insha Learning Media Design Based on the Padlet With a Cooperative Learning Approach

Abstract

This study aims to develop padlet-based Insya learning media with a cooperative learning approach and to see its feasibility and characteristics in learning. This research uses the R&D method with the 4D model. This research was conducted on PBA study program students in semester 2 of IAI Darul Fattah. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study used qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the stages of developing padlet-based Insya learning media used 3 stages of 4D, namely, Define- the needs analysis stage, Design- the stage of making applications by entering material and content and Development- the stage of testing the feasibility of the media developed. The results of the validation test from media experts were 95.25%, while for the material expert assessment 89.52%, This shows that the learning media developed is in the very feasible category. The results also show that Insya^ learning media developed has several characteristics- namely, initiating group learning (Cooperative Learning), providing space for discussion (Brainstorming), and focusing on student learning activities (Student Center).

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Arabic language education is becoming increasingly vital as it enhances learning experiences and outcomes. However, there exists a significant gap in understanding the specific impacts and challenges associated with AI applications in this context. Previous studies have indicated the potential of AI technologies to support language acquisition, yet challenges related to dialect variations and pronunciation accuracy persist. This study employed a mixed-methods approach, incorporating qualitative interviews and observational research to gather insights from language educators and learners regarding their experiences with AI tools in Arabic language instruction. The findings reveal that AI not only improves language proficiency among students but also fosters greater engagement and motivation in the learning process. Nevertheless, technical challenges, particularly concerning dialectal differences, remain critical areas needing further improvement. Overall, the research underscores the significant benefits of AI in Arabic language learning while highlighting the necessity for ongoing development to address existing challenges, ultimately paving the way for more effective educational practices.

Abstract

This study examines the application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in writing learning which focuses on improving literacy skills while strengthening students^ cultural awareness. This study is motivated by the needs of 21st century learning that require writing competencies that are reflective, critical, and contextual to cultural diversity. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by following the PRISMA stage which consists of identifying, selection, and analysis of twenty-five articles published in 2015-2025 that are relevant to the application of CRT in the context of writing learning. The results of the study show that the CRT approach is effective in three main dimensions, namely cognitive, affective, and sociocultural. In the cognitive dimension, CRT improves writing skills through cultural scaffolding that helps students conceptualize concrete experiences into abstract ideas. In the affective dimension, CRT builds motivation and confidence through the recognition of cultural identity. Meanwhile, in the sociocultural dimension, CRT encourages the ability to think critically about social reality through cultural reflection in texts. Implementation challenges are found in teacher awareness, curriculum flexibility, and education system support, which can be overcome through the strengthening of reflective communities, the integration of CRT in Project-Based Learning, and the use of digital media such as Padlet and e-portfolio. Overall, CRT not only enhances writing competence, but also forms empowered, reflective, and culturally rooted writers.

This paper examines the application of transformative education in teaching critical reading of Arabic texts through a case-based learning (CBL) approach. Traditional methods of Arabic reading instruction have been limited to grammar analysis and literal comprehension, which fail to foster critical thinking and social awareness. Transformative education, informed by the theories of Paulo Freire, Jack Mezirow, and Ki Hajar Dewantara, emphasizes critical reflection, dialogue, and empowerment, making it highly compatible with CBL strategies. Through conceptual analysis, this study highlights how CBL can be used as a transformative pedagogical model for developing critical Arabic reading skills. The findings suggest that integrating CBL with transformative education principles enables students to analyze Arabic texts within broader cultural, political, and social contexts, thus preparing them for intercultural dialogue and global citizenship

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems in planning folk poetry text learning for junior high school students and examine its relevance to the development of students^ personal skills. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study method that examines various literature related to folk poetry learning planning, the characteristics of junior high school students, and the concept of personal skills in the educational context. The focus of this study is to identify obstacles that often arise in the preparation of learning plans such as the mismatch of material with curriculum demands, the selection of inappropriate learning methods, and the minimal integration of students^ personal skills development in the learning process. This literature study also outlines the importance of learning folk poetry text as a potential medium for developing creativity, communication skills, and independent attitudes in students. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that suboptimal learning plans will have a negative impact on the development of students^ personal skills, thus not optimally forming character and relevant life skills. Therefore, improvements and refinements in learning plans are essential so that folk poetry learning can be an effective means of developing personal skills. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions as a reference for educators, curriculum developers, and policy makers to improve the quality of folk literature learning that is integrated with the development of personal skills in junior high school students

Literature Review: Interactive Learning Media in Dance Arts to Improve Students Dance Appreciation

Abstract

Dance appreciation is one of the essential competencies in arts and culture education, which not only trains technical skills but also develops students understanding, judgment, and aesthetic sensitivity. However, the level of dance appreciation among students remains a concern in the field of education. Various learning models and media have been explored to address this challenge. This article presents a literature review aimed at mapping and analyzing effective learning models for enhancing dance appreciation, while also identifying research gaps for further innovation. The review covers several studies, such as the implementation of blended learning, the use of ICT, the snowball throwing model supported by audio visual media, the jigsaw technique, and the general use of audio-visual media. Collectively, these studies demonstrate that the integration of technology and participatory approaches significantly enhances students understanding, attitudes, and dance appreciation skills. Nevertheless, a gap remains, as previous studies have tended to emphasize learning models such as blended learning or audio visual media that are relatively passive. This study, therefore, develops interactive learning videos with reflective questioning features to encourage more active student engagement. Thus, this literature review highlights that the appropriate selection and application of learning models in dance education such as the use of interactive learning videos play a crucial role in improving students dance appreciation, while also providing direction for future research and educational practice in the arts.

Abstract

This study aims to review the implementation of digital technology in traditional music learning for senior high school students in Jakarta through a literature review approach. The focus of the study is directed at how digital media, learning applications, and interactive platforms contribute to enhancing students^ musical intelligence, cognitive abilities, and creativity within the context of local cultural preservation. The research method employs a literature review from various national and international journals related to music education, digital technology, and the revitalization of traditional arts. The findings indicate that the integration of digital technology not only increases students^ learning motivation but also enriches learning experiences through interactive approaches, personalized materials, and the use of multimedia. In addition, the use of digital learning applications for traditional music has been proven to strengthen cultural appreciation, improve student engagement, and present pedagogical innovations that align with the development of technology-based curricula in Indonesia. This review emphasizes the importance of developing digital learning media as an effective strategy to ensure the sustainability of traditional music while supporting the formation of 21st-century competencies among senior high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the needs for interactive multimedia-based Qawa^id teaching materials for beginner-level students in the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Various obstacles were found in Qawa^id learning, such as the abstract nature of the material, conventional teaching methods, and the lack of engaging and interactive learning media. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method focusing on the Analysis phase of the ADDIE model. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The findings show that 76% of students agree that current Qawa^id learning is confusing, and 82% express a strong need for interactive multimedia-based materials. These findings serve as the basis for developing materials in the next research stage.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using digital music-based learning media in improving musical skills of junior high school students. The background of the study is based on the low interest and creativity of students in music learning, which is still dominated by conventional methods. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 60 eighth-grade students divided into two groups: experimental (digital media) and control (conventional methods). Research instruments included music performance tests, observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis using t-tests indicated significant differences in musical skills between the two groups (p < 0.05). The use of digital music-based media proved effective in enhancing rhythm, melody, harmony, and creativity. These findings suggest that integrating digital technology into music education is an effective strategy to optimize students^ potential.

Abstract

Pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA) merupakan salah satu upaya strategis yang penting dalam internasionalisasi bahasa Indonesia sesuai dengan amanat Undang-Undang Nomor 24 Tahun 2009. Di antara empat keterampilan berbahasa, keterampilan berbicara sering menjadi tantangan terbesar bagi pembelajar BIPA tingkat lanjut karena tidak hanya menuntut penguasaan kosakata dan struktur, tetapi juga kelancaran, intonasi, dan ekspresivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa BIPA melalui penugasan produksi konten video dengan isu media sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif pada mahasiswa tingkat 5 sebagai subjek. Data diperoleh dari hasil video, transkrip, serta penilaian berbasis rubrik berbicara yang mencakup enam aspek: isi dan kesesuaian topik, kelancaran, pelafalan dan intonasi, kosakata dan tata bahasa, serta kreativitas penyajian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mampu menyampaikan gagasan dengan runtut, isi relevan, dan struktur jelas, namun masih menghadapi kendala pada intonasi, ekspresivitas, dan kreativitas. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa produksi video isu media sosial dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran berbicara yang kontekstual, komunikatif, serta sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajar BIPA di era digital.

^Slay^ in the Digital Wild: Tracing Malaysian and Indonesian Youth Expressions on X via PhantomBuster

Abstract

As digital culture reshapes everyday language, slang expressions like ^slay^ have become embedded in the communicative practices of youth on social media platforms, reflecting dynamic shifts in meaning across cultural and linguistic boundaries. In the Cambridge English Dictionary, ^slay^ is defined with three core meanings: to kill violently, to impress greatly, and to disappoint. While the term is widely used online, most existing studies tend to focus on content analysis or linguistic trends without elaborating on the technical process of data collection, particularly the application of web scraping tools. Addressing this gap, the present study utilizes Phantom Buster connected to Platform X^s API to extract a dataset of 131,229 entries from Malaysia and 192,991 entries from Indonesia that include the hashtag ^slay.^ The data were analyzed thematically and interpreted through Stewart^s theory of semantic prosody to examine how the term^s meaning is adapted in digital contexts. The findings reveal that Malaysian youth often use ^slay^ with irony, sarcasm, and humor, frequently indicating frustration or perceived inauthenticity, aligning with the third dictionary meaning. In contrast, Indonesian youth predominantly use the term in an affirmative and empowering manner, expressing admiration and personal excellence, corresponding to the second meaning. The violent literal sense rarely appears, though it occasionally emerges metaphorically through hyperbole or playful exaggeration. This study not only sheds light on the evolving semantics of digital slang but also contributes to broader discussions on youth identity, cultural expression, and methodological approaches to large-scale social media discourse analysis.

Abstract

Argumentation lies in its ability to encourage students to actively develop critical thinking skills, formulate logical opinions, and construct arguments based on relevant data and evidence. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the ADI model in relation to argumentation skills based on a literature review. The research method employed is a literature review analysis technique, with the following criteria: (1) articles published in accredited journals, (2) articles indexed in Google Scholar, (3) publication years limited to 2020-2025, and (4) keywords used in article searches are ADI Model and Argumentative Text. The results of the study show that the application of the ADI model has been proven to improve students^ argumentation skills, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving capacity. However, the success of implementing the ADI model is also influenced by several factors, such as teacher readiness, students^ understanding of the model, and its alignment with students^ learning needs. Therefore, support for teacher capacity development is crucial to achieving optimal outcomes in implementing the ADI model.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi perencanaan pembelajaran puisi yang cenderung monoton di lingkungan sekolah serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebabnya dan solusi yang memungkinkan untuk diterapkan. Pembelajaran puisi yang kurang menarik dan minim variasi seringkali membuat siswa merasa bosan, tidak termotivasi, serta mengalami kesulitan dalam mengapresiasi karya sastra secara mendalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi kegiatan belajar-mengajar dan analisis dokumen perencanaan pembelajaran, khususnya Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada bagaimana guru menyusun rencana pengajaran puisi, metode yang digunakan, serta kendala yang mereka temui dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan bermakna.
Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan yang masih bersifat tradisional, didominasi oleh metode ceramah dan penugasan tertulis, menjadi penyebab utama dari monoton nya proses pembelajaran puisi. Kurangnya pelatihan bagi guru dalam mengembangkan metode yang inovatif dan terbatasnya pemanfaatan teknologi juga memperparah kondisi tersebut. Hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya partisipasi serta minat siswa dalam pembelajaran puisi. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kapasitas guru melalui program pelatihan, perancangan RPP yang lebih bervariasi dan kontekstual, serta integrasi media digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Evaluasi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran puisi agar lebih menarik, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

Learning Arabic means learning a language with diverse and flexible word formation patterns. Arabic is not a mother tongue, but a second language for Indonesian students, so they often experience various obstacles and difficulties in the learning process. This is because of several differences between Arabic and Indonesian. So a creative and innovative learning process is needed. The use of creative and innovative learning media can create an interesting learning atmosphere. Social media is currently one of the media instructors employ as a non-boring learning innovation. Therefore, this study aims to reveal the types of social media that are used in learning Arabic at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. This research is a literature study, using qualitative research data with descriptive method elaboration so that the data is obtained through the in-depth study of the texts of books and articles that discuss the use of social media in Arabic. The results of this study reveal that the social media that are widely used in learning Arabic at the elementary, middle, and high school levels are WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok. This social media supports learning at the elementary, middle, and high levels in learning language skills (maharah lughawi) such as (Istima^, Kalam, Qira^ah, and Kitabah).

Abstract

Individualized speech support in diverse early childhood classrooms is a significant pedagogical challenge, often creating learning disparities. While effective, the scalability of arts-based interventions like the ^Phonological Bridge^ model is limited by an educator^s capacity for one-on-one feedback. This conceptual paper explores, through a literature review, how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can serve as a ^pedagogical amplifier^ to address this issue. Synthesizing research from computational linguistics, human-computer interaction, and arts-based pedagogy, we propose a model of human-AI collaboration. This framework posits that AI^s primary role is not to replace the educator, but to augment their capabilities. The literature suggests AI can automate pronunciation assessment, delivering personalized and immediate feedback to each child at scale. This process generates objective data that empowers teachers to shift from intuitive observation to data-informed intervention, freeing them to focus on higher-order tasks like fostering emotional connection and creativity. We conclude that this collaborative model represents a paradigm shift, recasting the teacher^s role from a sole instructor to a designer of enriched learning ecosystems. Its primary implication is the potential to democratize access to high-quality speech practice, promoting greater equity in foundational language skills for the AI era.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students^ creativity in fine arts learning through the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model using modern puppet (wayang) media. The background of this research is the low level of students^ creativity and participation caused by conventional learning methods that lack engagement. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative descriptive approach conducted in grade XI of SMA Negeri 46 Jakarta. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, learning achievement tests, and student questionnaires. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students^ creativity, motivation, and learning outcomes after the application of the PjBL model with modern puppet media. Moreover, students became more active, enthusiastic, and demonstrated a deeper understanding of local cultural values. The study concludes that the use of traditional media redesigned in a modern context can serve as an effective strategy in fine arts education to support the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran interpretasi teks sastra dalam penanaman nilai moral dan budaya melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra, interpretasi teks memiliki peran penting dalam membangun pemahaman kritis peserta didik terhadap makna, nilai, dan pesan budaya yang terkandung dalam karya sastra. Melalui metode SLR, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi, mengevaluasi, dan mensintesis berbagai publikasi ilmiah yang relevan dalam kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir. Proses telaah dilakukan dengan tahapan perencanaan, seleksi literatur, analisis tematik, serta interpretasi temuan. Hasil sementara menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan interpretasi teks sastra tidak hanya memperkuat pemahaman terhadap isi karya sastra, tetapi juga menjadi sarana efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral, memperkuat karakter, serta melestarikan kearifan budaya lokal. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoretis terhadap pengembangan strategi pembelajaran sastra yang berbasis interpretasi serta memperkaya wacana pendidikan karakter dan budaya di Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven innovation in learning methods, one of which is the flipped classroom (flipclass) model. This model allows students to learn independently through digital media before face-to-face learning, so that class time can be used for discussion and practice. This article examines the development of flipclass teaching media for explanatory text learning using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of the study and implementation show that flipclass teaching media effectively improves students^ understanding of the structure and content of explanatory texts as well as their writing skills. This media also increases learning motivation and classroom interaction. Thus, flipclass is a relevant and effective alternative learning method in the digital era.

Abstract

Language serves as a vital medium for human communication, allowing individuals to express ideas, emotions, and knowledge. In Arabic language learning, maharah kalam (speaking skill) is a core component that reflects communicative competence. However, current Arabic teaching practices often remain conventional, emphasizing memorization and grammar explanation rather than authentic speaking interaction. Learners frequently experience low motivation, speaking anxiety, and limited opportunities to practice in meaningful contexts. To address these challenges, this study aims to analyze the utilization of ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence based conversational model for developing maharah kalam through a deep learning approach. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with literature analysis, this research synthesizes findings from recent scholarly works on Arabic language pedagogy, AI integration, and deep learning principles. The results reveal that ChatGPT can simulate authentic dialogues, provide real-time feedback, and promote reflective and contextual learning, aligning with the core values of deep learning. Furthermore, it offers an engaging, learner-centered environment that fosters communicative confidence and higher-order thinking. The study concludes that integrating ChatGPT into Arabic speaking instruction represents an innovative pedagogical model for enhancing meaningful and transformative language learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament berdasarkan tinjauan literatur dari 10 jurnal terkait. Model Pembelajaran Team Games Tournament, yang melibatkan interaksi sosial antar peserta didik.Dalam penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas 5 SD, Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia merupakan pelajaran wajib. Sehingga siswa dapat memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, pemahaman konsep, dan keterampilan abad ke-21. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Team Games Tournament efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Namun, penerapan model ini juga menghadapi tantangan terkait kurangnya pemahaman siswa untuk menuliskan Langkah-langkah struktur teks prosedur. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar peserta didik, asalkan didukung dengan cara bekerja yang efektif,dan aktif memberi kontribusi pada Team. Banyaknya penelitian model pembelajaran Team Games Tournamen pada siswa SMP maupun siswa SMA,belum adanya penelitian ini pada siswa kelas 5 SD.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Model Penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan mengadopsi model Dick an Carry yang terangkum dalam ADDIE dipadukan dengan model desain silabus Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Tahapan penelitian ini terdiri dari lima tahapan: analisis kebutuhan (Analyse), Merancang bahan ajar (Design), Mengembangkan bahan ajar (Develope). Dalam proses validasi produk peneliti menggunakan instrumen berupa angket terbuka dan angket tertutup, uji coba produk melalui p, roses uji validasi dan uji realibilitas yang melibatkan ahli materi, ahli pembelajaran dan dosen pengguna bahan ajar serta uji kelompok kecil yang melibatkan 20 mahasiswa S2 semester 2 angkatan tahun 2024-2025 di semester 122. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner untuk penilaian tim ahli dan wawancara untuk uji coba satu-satu. Analisis data menggunakan skala Guttman yaitu skor 1 untuk jawab ^Ya^ dan 0 untuk ^Tidak^. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tim ahli dan dosen pengampu, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan ini dinilai sangat baik dan sesuai dengan prinsip pengembangan keterampilan abad 21.

Development of SIMPONI (Interactive Pianica Simulator) as a Learning Media for Music Education in Junior High Schools

Abstract

This study aims to develop SIMPONI (Interactive Pianica Simulator) as an innovative learning media to enhance the effectiveness of music education, specifically pianica instruction, at the junior high school level. The research was motivated by the limited availability of musical instruments in schools and the lack of interactive instructional media, which negatively affects students^ learning motivation and instrumental performance skills. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product validation was conducted by material and media experts, resulting in an average feasibility score of 87.5%, categorized as highly feasible. Students^ responses in small and large group trials reached an average score of 91% in the very good category, indicating that the media is highly practical. Learning effectiveness was demonstrated by an improvement in students^ learning outcomes from an average pretest score of 58 to a posttest score of 84, yielding an N-Gain value of 0.62 in the moderate effectiveness category. The results showed that SIMPONI successfully improved students^ learning autonomy, musical notation understanding, and pianica playing skills through interactive practice. Furthermore, the media supports technology-based learning in line with the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Therefore, SIMPONI is considered appropriate for use as an alternative learning media to overcome limitations in musical instruments and to promote adaptive, creative, and meaningful music learning in junior high schools.

Abstract

Dalam tradisi linguistik generatif, Noam Chomsky secara konsisten menolak kebergantungan terhadap data korpus empirikal dalam menganalisis struktur bahasa, khususnya dalam kajian sintaksis. Beliau menekankan kepentingan intuisi penutur natif dalam kajian bahasa dan mempersoalkan ketepatan data korpus kerana menganggapnya terdedah kepada unsur gangguan variasi dan tidak mencerminkan kecekapan linguistik yang sebenar. Namun, perkembangan pesat teknologi kecerdasan buatan dan teknologi linguistik, ketersediaan pangkalan data korpus yang berskala besar serta peningkatan keperluan terhadap analisis empirikal yang lebih meluas telah menimbulkan semula perdebatan terhadap kerelevenan pandangan tersebut dalam konteks kajian linguistik kontemporari. Oleh itu, kertas ini bertujuan menilai semula hujah-hujah Chomsky terhadap korpus dengan pendekatan metodologi korpus dalam kajian sintaksis yang dapat menyumbang kepada pemahaman yang lebih luas dan mendalam terhadap struktur sintaktik sejagat. Kajian ini mendapati antara cabaran penggunaan korpus ialah keterbatasannya dalam menunjukkan kompetensi penutur natif, keterbatasan bukti negatif, keterbatasannya dalam memperlihatkan keupayaan sistem mental serta data yang mungkin bias dan terhad. Namun, peluang baharu turut wujud dalam penyelidikan berpacukan korpus melibatkan keupayaan penyelidik bahasa memiliki korpus yang berbilion token (leksikon) dari pelbagai sumber dan genre, keupayaan pangkalan berteknologi tinggi yang membolehkan penemuan struktur morfosintaksis dan keupayaan data raya untuk menguji sesuatu hipotesis dan teori. Kesimpulannya, gabungan penyelidikan berpacukan korpus amat diperlukan dalam konteks semasa dengan kepentingan pendekatan integratif. Korpus bukanlah musuh kepada teori, namun ia sebagai pelengkap kepada analisis linguistik moden yang semakin berkembang.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a lyric video-based icebreaking strategy in enhancing the learning motivation of 9th-grade students at SMPN 31 Kota Tangerang. An interdisciplinary approach was employed, integrating theories from education, music, neuroscience, Homo Ludens philosophy, and psychology. A questionnaire was administered to 100 students, with dominant responses falling under ^Agree^ and ^Strongly Agree.^ The results indicate that this strategy successfully creates an enjoyable learning atmosphere, increases focus, and strengthens student engagement. This article also discusses the theoretical and practical implications of this approach within the context of Indonesian education.

Abstract

This study examines the use of using HSK 1 and 2 storytelling YouTube videos as a pedagogical tool for vocabulary memorization and subsequent improvement in basic Mandarin listening comprehension among beginner-level learners. Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) 1 and 2 storytelling YouTube videos as an enrichment resource to support vocabulary comprehension and mastery in listening basic Mandarin among university students. The research explores the learning experiences, perceptions, and observable outcomes when students integrate this type of multimedia content with curriculum. The study involved 81 students enrolled in the Mandarin Listening Level 1 course at State University of Jakarta (UNJ). Data were primarily collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observation, and content analysis of student reflections. The thematic findings strongly indicate that exposure to HSK storytelling themes allows students to effectively integrate and master vocabulary from both standard lecture materials and the enrichment content provided by YouTube. This integration aids contextual understanding and long-term retention, positioning digital storytelling as a highly valuable complementary tool in foundational Mandarin education.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di era digital menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan penguasaan maharah al-lughah (keterampilan berbahasa). Media konvensional dianggap kurang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang menuntut interaktivitas dan kemandirian belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guna menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media interaktif Articulate Storyline dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Kajian dilakukan dengan pendekatan PRISMA, mencakup tahap identifikasi, penyaringan, dan sintesis terhadap delapan artikel ilmiah terbitan 2021-2025, yang diperoleh melalui Google Scholar dengan kata kunci Articulate Storyline dan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media Articulate Storyline terbukti efektif dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, dengan validasi ahli sebesar 88%-97% dan peningkatan hasil belajar rata-rata 30-50% setelah penerapan. Sebagian besar penelitian menggunakan metode R&D (ADDIE) dan berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan produktif (kitabah dan kalam), sementara lainnya pada keterampilan reseptif (istima dan qiraah). Disimpulkan bahwa Articulate Storyline merupakan media pembelajaran digital yang inovatif pedagogis yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Arab dan motivasi belajar. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi teknologi interaktif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di era digital.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Deep Learning approach in enhancing students^ skills in writing fantasy stories at SMP Negeri 1 Tambusai Utara, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The deep learning approach emphasizes students^ critical, reflective, and creative thinking processes in understanding concepts and constructing meaning through meaningful learning experiences. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of students^ written works. The results indicate that the implementation of deep learning has a positive impact on improving students^ ability to develop ideas, organize plot structures, and use imaginative language in fantasy story writing. Moreover, this approach increases students^ motivation and active participation during the writing process. Therefore, the application of deep learning proves to be effective in fostering students^ creative literacy skills at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This research focuses on Project-Based Learning short story writing as a learning outcome for students in the Chinese Language Chinese Writing IV course at Jakarta State University. The background to this research is the importance of Chinese language mastery in the current era of globalization and the challenges students face in mastering relevant and contextual vocabulary. Furthermore, there is a need to enhance creativity, resulting in creative works, one of which is short stories. The purpose of this research is to apply the Project-Based Learning method, focusing on writing skills, to produce contextual and relevant creative works. The resulting short stories reflect the abilities and understanding of the learning outcomes of the Chinese Chinese Writing IV course. Research on short story writing methods in Chinese Writing courses can be conducted using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Research focusing on optimizing reading skills to improve Chinese writing skills uses a qualitative approach. This study attempts to optimize Chinese text reading activities in learning to improve students^ writing skills. The results indicate that by providing more reading input, students gain broader knowledge of writing topics and their development, better vocabulary mastery, and an understanding of good writing methods, thus positively impacting students^ Chinese writing skills. (2) Therefore, research methods that can be used in short story writing in Chinese writing courses include quantitative and qualitative approaches, tailored to the objectives and focus of the research.
The research results are expected to make a significant contribution to enhancing students^ Chinese language creativity, producing written works in the form of short stories, and enriching their learning experiences with relevant contexts. The results of this short story writing are expected to be one of the effective Project-Based Learning outcomes in Chinese language learning and produce creative and productive students.

This study examines the phenomenon of father hunger among boys in Japan resulting from chichioya fuzai (father absence) in parenting influenced by the patriarchal Ie family system. Using the Japanese drama Ore no Ie no Hanashi as the primary data source, the research focuses on male characters in the Miyama family to identify signs of father hunger and its impacts. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with an extrinsic approach, supported by theories of father hunger, fatherless, and chichioya fuzai. Findings reveal that the patriarchal ie system reinforces the father^s role as the primary breadwinner and minimizes involvement in childcare, leading to emotional distance and limited father-child communication. This absence contributes to various psychological and behavioral issues, including low self-esteem, emotional suppression, and difficulties in interpersonal relationships. The analysis underscores that cultural norms and historical gender roles continue to shape father-child dynamics in Japan, and that Ore no Ie no Hanashi offers a critical reflection of these realities. The study contributes to socio-cultural discourse by providing insights into cross-cultural understanding of parenting, gender roles, and their long-term impacts on children.
