Abstract

The sports education model most effective way to increase independence by collaborating with team sports such as football, volleyball and basketball, but it is still rare to find people who use it in physical fitness material. This view will provide great benefits for students, especially about Self-Regulation. The main aim of this research is to see that physical education learning using the sport education model and conventional can improve students self-regulation. This experimental research used a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was Junior High School 3 Lembang, totaling 18 classes. The sample was chosen randomly and placed in classes 7C and 7D, each with 40 students. The instrument used is a self-regulated questionnaire. The research results showed that physical education learning using the Sport Education Model was proven to have a better influence on students self-regulation, while the conventional model did not have a significant influence on students self-regulation. So, it is recommended that in physical education learning teachers must master and use the sports education model so that students can achieve good self-regulation. In implementing this sports education model, it must be supported by adequate infrastructure so that students self-regulated development increases optimally.

Universitas Negeri Malang

Abstract

Abstract
The Merdeka Curriculum in the Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) subject includes an element of movement utilization. One of the goals of this element is to practice physical activities in daily life based on the principles of Frequency, Intensity, Time, and Type (FITT), ensuring that physical fitness levels are at least in the good category. This study aims to assess physical activity and fitness during the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used is a survey method. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive proportional sampling. The participants included 311 eighth-grade students from several public middle schools in the Kedungkandang District, Malang City. Data were collected using the Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKJI) and a questionnaire recording students^ daily physical activities based on the FITT principles. The results showed that only 9.0% of male students and 1.9% of female students achieved a good fitness category. Most students engaged in physical activities less than three times a week, which is far below the WHO recommendations. This study emphasizes the need to increase the frequency of students^ physical activities and the critical role of teachers in facilitating regular physical activities. To support the achievement of the Merdeka Curriculum, direct monitoring of students^ physical activities through technologies such as heart rate monitors is recommended. These findings can be used as evaluation material and references for developing more effective PJOK learning.

Universitas Negeri Medan

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of physical education learning in the Binjai City Special School for children with mild intellectual disabilities. This research method is qualitative research with case studies. Next, data collection can be developed or proven to solve the problems in the research. Data collection is carried out by observation, interviews with teachers and parents, as well as documentation. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The research results show that the implementation of physical education learning for mentally retarded children is in accordance with the concept of physical education, namely implementing DAP (developmentally appropriate practice) where teachers are not asked to change everything they do, but rather align their educational actions with knowledge about child development. It^s just that in its implementation there are still obstacles where the concept of aligning the adaptive physical education actions implemented seems more appropriate for normal children only at low ages. This means that the implementation of adaptive physical education for children with mild intellectual disabilities at SMPLB-C Binjai is not fully in accordance with the needs and characteristics of adaptive physical education for children with special needs.

Abstract

Futsal, a high-intensity sport involving rapid direction changes and played by two teams of five, has rapidly grown in popularity in Indonesia, including among women. Despite this progress, there is a concerning trend of deviant behavior among female futsal players, particularly relating to sexual orientation. Deviant behavior, defined as actions that diverge from societal norms, encompasses a range of activities from minor infractions to significant moral breaches. Recent observations indicate that some female futsal players are shifting their sexual orientation towards lesbianism and adopting more masculine appearances, such as cutting their hair short and wearing men^s clothing. This shift, often accompanied by same-sex attraction, is seen as a deviation from the prevailing social norms in Indonesia, a predominantly conservative society. The objectives of this study are to explore the psychosocial factors contributing to these behavioral changes and assess the implications for the players and the broader societal response. Methodologically, this research employs qualitative analysis to gather insights from interviews and observations of female futsal players. The findings suggest that while fidelity in lesbian relationships indicates strong mutual commitment, societal acceptance remains limited, impacting players^ experiences and perceptions. This study aims to provide a deeper understanding of how these factors influence deviant behavior in female futsal players and the broader implications for societal attitudes towards sexual orientation in sports.
