Development of Teaching Materials for Gymnastics Learning Courses Based on Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum

Abstract

The purpose of the research on the development of teaching materials for gymnastics learning courses based on the Outcome Base Education (OBE) curriculum is to develop teaching materials for gymnastics learning courses. Teaching materials for gymnastics learning courses are a new innovation in providing gymnastics learning guide books. Containing elements of technology will be able to attract students^ interest in studying gymnastics learning courses, because they provide services that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. Gymnastics learning books based on the Outcome Base Education (OBE) curriculum make it easier for students to understand them, are practical, efficient because they can be used anytime and anywhere, and can then be accessed independently via smartphones. The method in this study is R&D with reference to Sugiyono^s development research. The approach in this study is quantitative. The population in this study were students of Physical Education, Health and Recreation, the sample was all students in gymnastics learning courses based on the Outcome Base Education (OBE) curriculum. Trial 1 used 35 students of gymnastics learning courses (1 class) and trial 2 used 70 students of gymnastics learning courses (2 classes). Data collection techniques in this study were through interviews, questionnaires. Validation was carried out to facilitate researchers assessed by gymnastics material experts, language experts and media experts and user subjects. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive percentage techniques. The results of the study showed that this gymnastics learning book with technology integration was considered very good and feasible to use. This gymnastics learning book has great potential to improve students^ understanding in learning by providing a printed version, an electronic version and an application that can be used via a smartphone that can be accessed anywhere and anytime independently. Furthermore, the contents of the book are easy to understand and emphasize the importance of the Outcome Base Education (OBE) Curriculum.
