Abstract

This study analyzes the efficiency of community-based tourism development in Tinggimoncong District, focusing on Malino Tourism Village using the Epsilon-Based Measure (EBM) while considering environmental impacts. The results show varying tourism management efficiency across villages: Malino (0.97) demonstrates high efficiency, Parigi (1.00) and Pattapang (1.00) achieve full efficiency, while Bulutana (0.92) and Bontoleurng (0.95) still have potential for improvement. These differences are influenced by socio-economic factors and village resource management. Based on the findings, recommendations include strengthening community capacity, implementing more sustainable environmental management, and conducting regular performance monitoring. Future research could expand coverage to all villages in Tinggimoncong District to enhance the validity of the results
