How Sustainable Is Malino Tourism? An Evaluation Using the Epsilon-Based Measure a)* Politeknik Pariwisata Makassar, jasman270[at]poltekparmakassar.ac.id Abstract This study analyzes the efficiency of community-based tourism development in Tinggimoncong District, focusing on Malino Tourism Village using the Epsilon-Based Measure (EBM) while considering environmental impacts. The results show varying tourism management efficiency across villages: Malino (0.97) demonstrates high efficiency, Parigi (1.00) and Pattapang (1.00) achieve full efficiency, while Bulutana (0.92) and Bontoleurng (0.95) still have potential for improvement. These differences are influenced by socio-economic factors and village resource management. Based on the findings, recommendations include strengthening community capacity, implementing more sustainable environmental management, and conducting regular performance monitoring.
