Abstract

Bulak Village, Jatibarang District, Indramayu, is one of the centers of high-quality mango production- however, its utilization is still limited to the sale of fresh fruit, which is vulnerable to price fluctuations and post-harvest waste. On the other hand, housewives, who play an important role in the family economy, do not yet have optimal skills in entrepreneurship and business opportunities. This community service program aims to empower housewives through training in the production of mango-based souvenir products, such as chips, candied fruit, dodol, jam, syrup, and other applicable products. The implementation methods include socialization, technical training on hygienic food processing, mentoring in digital marketing, strengthening business management, and facilitating product legality. The results of the activity show an improvement in participants^ skills in processing mangoes into value-added products with attractive packaging and higher market potential. In addition, a joint business group (Kelompok Usaha Bersama/KUB) was formed as a collaborative forum for production and marketing. This program not only supports the strengthening of family and village community economies but also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly gender equality, decent work and economic growth, and sustainable consumption.
The training results showed a 21% increase in participants^ knowledge, as indicated by the increase in the number of correct answers on the final test. Meanwhile, the average satisfaction questionnaire for the community service activities showed that 94.7% of participants were very satisfied.
