Abstract
The training program on wind energy utilization as an alternative electricity source in Muara Gembong District was conducted to enhance energy literacy and technical skills among coastal communities. This region possesses untapped wind energy potential, while access to conventional electricity remains limited. The study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design to evaluate the effectiveness of the training, which combined theoretical instruction with hands-on practice in installing small-scale wind turbines. Statistical analysis revealed a significant increase in posttest scores compared to pretest results, indicating that the training successfully improved participants^ understanding. These findings suggest that practice-based training can serve as an effective strategy to foster community energy independence.
