Dear Ms Agata,

According to some experiences which applied the waste management, waste bank model can be adapted to both urban and rural context. The issue which raised in the rural area is the amount of teh waste. For example the number of plastic waste in rural areal are not enough to reproduce as other products. Furthermore, the lack of market for the recycling product which made by the rural community esepcially the women.

Dear Authors, Do you think empowering women and children for waste management
in waste bank will lead to exclusion of men in waste management, which lead to more
workload for women for domestic chores? How should we address this potential issue?

Dear Dr,

Thank you for your question, it is very interesting to discuss on the empowering women and children in regard to exclusion men in waste management particularly when the point of view is worload of women.

In my poin of view, men never excluded in the program, the issue here is most men think that waste management belong to his wives. We need time to make the men aware that waste management in the domestic arena is not only responsibility for women. We should do a mission to change the mindset of men, they should think that domestic cores must be share among the whole family members including men as husband or breadmaker.

Thank you Dr.
