Afifah Bulandari
Faculty Of Sport Science, University Of Jakarta, Indonesia

This study aims to develop an effective learning model for teaching Nage Waza techniques in Karate to middle school students. Recognizing the importance of physical education in developing students^ motor skills and overall physical fitness, this research focuses on providing a structured approach to learning complex martial arts techniques. The proposed model incorporates step-by-step instructions, interactive demonstrations, and regular practice sessions designed to enhance students^ understanding and execution of Nage Waza techniques. Initial implementation in a middle school setting has shown promising results, with students displaying significant improvement in their technical skills, confidence, and enthusiasm for Karate. This learning model not only contributes to the physical development of students but also fosters discipline, focus, and respect, which are core values of martial arts education. Future research will aim to refine the model and explore its application in different educational contexts.
