Implementation of Scout Dasadharma Values as an Effort to form Religious Character in Students at State 1 State High School of Gorontalo City Ariyanto Nggilu, Ramli Mahmud, Sukarman Kamuli, Udin Hamim

Abstract
Religious character is one of the goals of education which is to be pious to God Almighty, one of the aspects used to form religious character is through scouting activities by implementing Dasadharma scouting values. This study aims to obtain information on the implementation of Dasadharma scouting values as an effort to form religious character in students in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 of Gorontalo City. This study uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The results of this study are that (1) Scouting activities in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 of Gorontalo City have Dasadharma values (2) scout activities describe religious character i.e. start each Scout activity with prayer (3) but what became an obstacle in the field turned out to be the implementation of religious character less than optimal. It can be seen that when it is prayer time, many students are late to perform prayers on time in the Madrasah Mosque, this is due to the lack of attention from the Guru when entering the prayer time especially the Ashar prayer. Then the students^ attention is too focused on the scouting activities, so the salutation is not timely.
