Abstract
Tourist village are an attractive choice for village people so that their village become advanced or better. Tourism is seen as a way for village communities to increase their income. Village not only has natural resources as tourist attractions, community economic activities in the form of MSMEs are economic resources owned by village communities that are needed for tourist villages. This article explains the conditions of participation of tourist village communities in the development of MSME products in Sukamandi Tourism Village, Subang, West Java. Based on the explanations from the literature on community participation studies for the development of MSME products in tourist village, the study was carried out with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained by determining informants consisting of Village Heads, MSME actors, and the Sukamandi tourist village community. The research instruments include observation, interviews, and documentation. The source of data for this research comes from interviews with Village Heads, MSME actors, and local communities. The results of this study show that the people of Sukamandi Tourist Village have been involved in various aspects, such as decision-making, implementation, utilization of results, and evaluation. Even so, this level of engagement still does not reach the expected optimal level
