Abstract
Knowledge about immune system is an important thing to have in order to maintain health and increase body immunity. Knowledge about immune system taught to students not only serves as information, but is expected to promote positive attitudes, one of which is the attitude of using herbs as immunomodulators. This is because knowledge has an important role in the formation of an attitude in an individual. It is important for high school students to have a positive attitude in using herbs so that they can improve their immune system and avoid various diseases. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about immune system with the attitude of using herbs as immunomodulators in high school students. This research method is correlational descriptive. The independent variable in this study is knowledge about immune system and the dependent variable in this study is the attitude of using herbs as immunomodulators. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique and continued with simple random sampling until 80 respondents were obtained. Testing the correlation coefficient of the two variables was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment formula. Based on the calculations obtained a significance value of 0.014 < 0.05 and a correlation coefficient of 0.274. It can be concluded that there is a weak and positive relationship between knowledge about immune system and the attitude of using herbs.
