FACTORS AFFECTING COMMUNITY COMPLIANCE TO HEALTH PROTOCOL IN PREVENTING COVID-19 IN DKI JAKARTA IN 2021

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infection that has hit many countries, including Indonesia. The increase in COVID-19 cases continues to occur, with the highest number of cases in DKI Jakarta. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the adherence of the people of DKI Jakarta to the COVID-19 prevention health protocol. This study used a cross-sectional study design with a total of 440 respondents. This research was conducted in October-December 2021. The statistical test used in this study was the Chi-square test. The results showed that at the level of confidence (&#945-) 5%, education level (p-value=0.003 - OR=1.818), knowledge (p-value = 0.0001 - OR = 6.669), attitude (p-value = 0.0001 - OR = 7.789), perception of vulnerability to COVID-19 (p-value = 0.0001 - OR = 3.307), social support (pvalue=0.000 - OR=3.733) and facility (p-value=0.0001 - OR=3.435) had a significant relationship with adherence to the COVID-19 preventive health protocol. Meanwhile, the facility(pvalue=0.341- OR=0.453) did not have a significant relationship with adherence to the COVID-19 preventive health protocol.
