Abstract
Abstract. The postgraduate curriculum is directed at producing a profile of graduates who are able to develop science, technology and produce works, are able to solve problems and are able to manage research that is beneficial to society and science. The curriculum will produce quality graduates, therefore it is important to always review the curriculum regularly to suit the needs of the community and stakeholders, this is one indicator of the quality of the study program. This study aims to obtain comprehensive and in-depth information through evaluation of the program curriculum. The object of evaluation is the doctoral curriculum for Postgraduate Basic Education, State University of Jakarta. The evaluation focused on the perceptions of lecturers, students, alumni and stakeholders towards the internationalization program, how the curriculum review process is, how the results of the review and curriculum implementation are based on AQAS recommendations. This study uses a program evaluation approach with an illuminative model. The illuminative model includes three evaluation phases, namely observe, further inquiry and seek to explain. Data were collected through documentation, interviews, and observations, questionnaires. The findings and conclusions show that the curriculum must be fully aligned with learning goals and achievements, free students need to be rational, learning activities need to develop 4Cs, active student learning, the evaluation process requires the availability of detailed rubrics, especially in problem-based learning and case studies. Other findings show that modern learning activities need to take advantage of learning management systems. The supporting factors of the findings show that the commitment of leaders and lecturers is needed as a learning system.
