Abstract
This systematic review is a part of developmental research to develop a digital-based instrument to assess vocational school absorptive capacity. The instrument can be used to map the absorptive capacity of vocational schools in Jakarta. The review systematically analyzed empirical studies on the previous empowerments of absorptive capacity at school for a five-year period (2017-2021). The studies were explored from gathering highly cited articles from Publish or Perish. Findings revealed that it is possible for a vocational school to master the absorptive capacity and generate ideas to fulfil nowadays^ demand of its graduates. There are four dimensions involved that are suitable to assess school absorptive capacity. They are 1) Acquisition. 2) Assimilation, 3) Transformation, and 4) Exploitation.
