Abstract
Pandeglang Regency^s coast is an area with a high level of vulnerability to tsunami disasters. This is due to the Pandeglang Regency area which is adjacent to Mount Anak Krakatau and borders the Sunda Strait Plate. Tsunami disaster literacy is very much needed by high school students on the coast of Pandegalng Regency so that they can have preparedness for a tsunami disaster that can come suddenly. This study aims to analyze the literacy level of the tsunami disaster students at SMA Negeri Pandeglang Regency. This research method uses a descriptive quantitative method. The results showed that the literacy level of the tsunami disaster of students reached 58.12%, including Indicator (1) having an awareness of the need for information as much as 63.4%, Indicator (2) Knowing information sources as much as 59.6%, Indicator ( 3) Having the ability to evaluate information as much as 55.8%, Indicator (4) Having the ability to learn independently as much as 57.55%. Indicator (5) Can solve problems as much as 54%. In conclusion, the tsunami literacy of high school students on the coast of Pandeglang Regency is at the Medium level. The tsunami disaster literacy of students needs to be improved, one of which is by developing digital teaching materials.
