MODERATE RELIGION IN READING TEACHING MATERIALS AS A PREVENTION OF RADICALISM AND TERRORISM Aceng Rahmat

Abstract
This study aims to develop reading teaching materials as a deterrent to radicalism among high school students. Radicalism in the form of anti-Pancasila does not want to respect the flag, considers the legitimate government as thoghut, considers people outside the group as enemies whose blood is lawful and can be killed, their property as ghonimah that can be confiscated and even robbed. This research was designed with a research and development approach. The samples were all Senior High school those have arabic lesson, tjere were 35 Schools/ The steps of this research were carried out in three stages, namely first, identifying the needs of students, language teachers for language teaching materials that contain values of moderate character education, based on anti-terrorism and radicalism. Second, making models of language teaching materials that contain values. -values of character education based on anti-terrorism and anti-radicalism in high school (SMA) DKI Jakarta. The third is to test the effectiveness of the Arabic teaching material model that has been produced for users. This research is proven to be able to improve language learning in DKI Jakarta High School (SMA) to be easier, more effective, and can produce students with moderate character while maintaining national identity, anti-terrorism, and radicalism. The teaching materials cover 7 (seven) topics of teaching materials consisting of Moderate Character Development- National Introduction- Treat each other fairly- We are all brothers- Local Cultural Accommodation- Be Polite and Wise- Be a creative, innovative, and independent individual.
