Abstract
Learning to write as an effort is made by educators to students for writing skills as an addition to knowledge, attitude formation and skill development. Writing is considered a complex skill. Writing as a complex process allows writers to discuss and understand. In practice, it needs to be studied and trained to make it easier to formulate the content area of writing. This research method uses a systematic literature reviews . A total of 20 journals were reviewed , from four databases searched for writing learning in elementary schools, text genre-based language learning, writing descriptive text and learning models. The results of this review will provide information about the learning model for writing descriptive text with the theme of the social environment, so that it can develop any learning that can be developed in the context of learning to write in elementary schools.
