Abstract
In the world we live in, there are a lot of technological innovations that we may use in our daily lives to make life easier, and Image Recognition Apps that we use on our phones is just one. This paper identified the different image recognition apps available, compared the different features available on each application and its limitation of use, and identified the best app available out there by comparing the 14 apps. The study also identified what the best app is lacking and came up with innovation by adding feature that is useful in times of pandemic. The method used in identifying the different image recognition apps available is qualitative, wherein writers analyzed the different qualitative data available from secondary data from published articles online and came up with conclusions and recommendations base from what has been presented. After comparing and analysis of the features of each of the 14 apps available, Google Lens was chosen by the group as the best app out there. Google Lens can recognize a wide variety of things but people are the only exception from it. And that fact only implies that there are still room for improvement. The innovation the paper offers is combining thermometer and Google lens as the new feature of the app since we often use thermometer whenever we go somewhere these days.
