Abstract
Resistance to anthelmintic drugs such as phenothiazines, Benzimidazole, Thiabendazole occur due to the frequency of use of the same substance, under dose and continuous use. Substances contained in papaya leaves (Carica papaya L.) can be used as an alternative treatment to avoid the drug resistance.
The method used in this study is to make papaya leaf juice (Carica papaya L.) with concentrations of 30%, 50% and 80% then given to 3 worms for each sample and observed the time of paralysis and death every 1 hour for 5 hours.
The results of this study show that the 50% concentration is the most effective concentration for paralysis and 80% concentration for death.
