Abstract
Covid-19 Pendemi has positive and negative impacts on peoples lives. The decline in economic activity results in the reduction or lost sources of income for employers. This study aims to analyze the change in status of workers from permanent workers to daytalers. This research is a normative juridical with the statutory approach. The results of the study showed that the concern of workers to employers over the difficulty of income sources, making workers willing to relinquish their rights by being ready to be switched over their status. There are differences in the rights received by workers after the change of rights. For this reason, a formal proof is required, namely the registration of an agreement on status acquisition at the District Court. The conclusion reached is that a switch over in the status of workers from permanent workers to daytalers is justified if it is done through a collective agreement directed to the District Court.
