Abstract
The elderly are the most rapidly growing population group in the world. Non pharmacological treatment of hypertension morning walk is a light activity that is suitable for people with the elderly to help control their blood pressure in the long term. This research aims to determine the effect of morning walk therapy towards elderly people^s blood pressure with hypertension at Pabuaran Kidul village, Pabuaran district, Cirebon, 2020. The research method used quasy experiment with one group pre-test post-test approach with a total sample of 20 respondents. The instruments of this research was using observation sheets and spyghmomanometer and watches. The researcher used Wilcoxon test. The result of this research obtained p-value is 0.022 thus (p <0.05). So it can be concluded that there is an effect of morning walk therapy towards elderly people^s blood pressure with hypertension at Pabuaran Kidul village Pabuaran district, Cirebon, 2020. After conducting the research on the elderly people in Pabuaran Kidul village, it is hoped that the elderly will be able to get used to doing physical activities such as morning walks to reduce their blood pressure. Doing physical activity such as walking can decreasing blood pressure.
