Abstract
Epistemology has a strategic role and determines the direction of the fate of science, many events of science and science which in the end can cause danger and disaster for the continuity of human life and nature, this is inseparable from the role of epistemology itself. The epistemology that is built can maintain and mobilize the safety of science and science from various crises. The epistemology of knowledge that it builds is not only sufficient based on ratios but is also based on the spiritual dimension that comes from Gods Revelation so that epistemology is not wild and uncontrolled. This research uses qualitative research methods with analytical descriptive approach. This research is a literature review using note technique. Islamic epistemology essentially integrates epistemology which is sourced from ratios and epistemology which is sourced from Revelation, both of them are expected to become a new paradigm and at the same time as a scientific approach that has great power in developing modern science and science that are characterized by hospitality and politeness towards the geographical, social, cultural, and so on must strive to build its elegant civilization without having to obey the past. Also be able to develop and use an epistemology that is integral between ratio and Revelation and can formulate and arrange scientific disciplines that are most relevant to the needs of contemporary society.
