Abstract
Data from the World Health Organization in 2011 said that there were up to one billion people in the world experiencing hypertension and two-thirds of them were in developing countries with low to moderate-income. Furthermore, data from the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia in 2013 explains that hypertension is the third condition that causes death, after stroke and tuberculosis. This research identifies the concept, theory, and research results on hypertension gymnastic frequency which can decrease blood pressure. The research method which is used is the Literature Review with a narrative review type. The research results proved that five from ten literature reviewed, stated that gymnastic hypertension can decrease blood pressure by doing it twice a week in thirty minutes regularly.
