Abstract
Breast cancer is the most common cancer that occurs in women. One of the management of breast cancer is surgery with a modified radical mastectomie (MRM). This study aims to analyze the effect of the range of limb extremities on seroma post Modified Radical Mastectomie at RS Kramat 128. The research method used is quasi experimental design with non equivalent control group pre test-posttest approach. The sample size was 81 respondents (71 respondents of the intervention group and 10 control group respondents) selected using random sampling. The results showed that there was a difference in serum expenditure before and after the range of motion of ekstermitas on post-MRM patients. There was a difference in the number of seroma expenditures after the range of extremity was performed on post MRM patients between the intervention group and the control group. There was no effect of age on the amount of serum expenditure in post MRM patients with indigo p = 0.360. There is an effect of education level on the number of seroma expenditures in post MRM patients with indigo p = 0.049. There was an effect of body weight on the number of seroma expenditures in post MRM patients with indigo p = 0.000. There was an effect of upper extremity motion on serum discharge rates in post MRM patients with a value p = 0.000. There was an effect of upper extremity motion on pain in post MRM patients with a value p = 0.000. There is a brewing age, level of education, weight and range of motion of the upper extremity simultaneously to the amount of seroma expenditure with a value of p = 0.000. This study recommends that the intervention of the upper extremity range of motion can be carried out in patients after MRM surgery because it can reduce pain and accelerate the healing process
