Abstract
A woman^s pregnancy can be a happy period as well as cause anxiety regarding her physiological and psychological adaptations. The anxiety that is not eliminated immediately during pregnancy can further lead to depression and adversely affect fetal development and maternal health. Objective: to identify the correlation between the level of anxiety and minor disorders during pregnancy. Methods: Research design used a descriptive correlational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with normal pregnancy as inclusion criteria. The sample size was 95 people. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate using chi-square test. Results: The study showed that there was a significant correlation between the level of anxiety and the type of minor disorders in pregnant women (p <0.05). However, there was no correlation between the level of anxiety and the management of minor disorders during pregnancy (p >0.05). It is important to minimize anxiety during pregnancy. Efforts are needed through increasing maternal knowledge through counseling by health workers regarding antenatal care, types and management of minor disorders during pregnancy, and various ways to reduce anxiety during pregnancy
