Abstract

Leadership plays a crucial role in today^s era of development, where the ability to adapt is very important. This article examines leadership variables and employee motivation using qualitative methods through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on 30 reviewed articles and reviews the literature from the last five years (2021-2025). The purpose of this study is to identify the leadership style that most influences employee motivation. The expected results show a significant relationship between leadership and employee motivation, where a leader can influence employees in carrying out their leadership duties. Low motivation has a negative impact on employee performance, and this motivation issue is a challenge faced by many organizations. Therefore, researchers need to explore more deeply the various leadership styles that can be applied to increase motivation and, ultimately, employee performance. A deeper understanding of the leadership and motivation strategies needed to optimize labor productivity is required.
