Abstract
Improving employee performance is very important, supported by strong motivation. So that personal abilities and competencies can develop gradually, which ultimately affects work productivity and loyalty to the organization or company. sThe study aims to analyze the influence of Intrinsic and Extrinsic Motivation using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data was collected from various journals published in the last years. The expected analysis results show that Intrinsic motivation, such as work enthusiasm, sense of responsibility and drive for self-development, has a more consistent and significant impact improving employee performance. On the other hand, Extrinsic motivation such as salary, incentives, office facilities, and recognition also contribute positively.
