Abstract

This research investigates how knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) affects the sustainability of culinary SMEs in Parepare City and its potential implications for tourism policy. Data were collected from 100 SME owners using a structured questionnaire, which was found to be valid and reliable with Cronbach Alpha greater than 0.60. The analysis reveals a significant positive relationship between SDGs knowledge and business sustainability (t = 4.673, p = 0.001). Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R2 = 0.797) shows that SDGs knowledge accounts for 79.7 percent of the variation in business sustainability. The study emphasizes the critical role of improving SDGs awareness among SMEs to promote sustainable business practices and guide tourism policy formulation
