Implementation of Mudharabah Financing in an Effort to Strengthen the Resilience of Islamic Banking in Makassar City 1. Institut Bisnis dan Keuangan Nitro, Makassar* Abstract This study aims to analyze the implementation of mudharabah financing to strengthen the resilience of Islamic banking in Makassar City. The research employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Primary data were obtained from employees of PT BMI, PT BSI, CIMB Niaga Syariah, and BTPN Syariah, while secondary data were collected from documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of mudharabah financing has not been optimal and is not fully aligned with the Financial Services Authority Circular No. 36/SEOJK.03/2015 regarding Products and Activities of Islamic Commercial Banks and Islamic Business Units, as well as the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 07/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 on Mudharabah Financing (Qiradh). Research Implication: Considering the important contribution of Islamic banking in improving public welfare-particularly for business actors-strong commitment from Islamic banks is required to promote and develop mudharabah financing based on mutual trust and transparency.
