Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development strategy of the Poso Lake Festival as a tourism event to enhance local economic growth in Poso Regency. The research employed a descriptive method with a SWOT analysis approach, operationalized through IFAS and EFAS matrices. Data were collected through literature review, field observation, and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The results show that the Poso Lake Festival has strong potential as a leading cultural tourism event supported by local government and community participation. However, weaknesses remain in infrastructure, digital promotion, and tourism human resource capacity. Development opportunities arise from national policy support, technological advancement, and cultural tourism trends. The recommended strategy is the WO (Weakness-Opportunities) approach, focusing on strengthening digital promotion, improving human resources, and empowering the local creative economy. Implementing this strategy is expected to enhance the festival^s competitiveness and contribute positively to local economic development.
