Abstract

The Socialization and Training Program for Swimming Instructors for Children with Hearing Disabilities in DKI Jakarta was carried out as an effort to improve the quality of adaptive sports services, particularly in swimming. Children with hearing disabilities have the same potential as other children in developing motor skills and sports abilities, but they require specific approaches and training methods tailored to their characteristics and needs. Through this program, swimming instructors were provided with an understanding of the concept of inclusion, effective communication with hearing-impaired learners, and adaptive swimming teaching techniques that are safe and enjoyable. The socialization also emphasized the importance of the instructor^s role as a facilitator in creating a learning environment that is friendly, participatory, and non-discriminatory. The results of this program are expected to produce swimming instructors who are competent in delivering more structured, effective, and inclusive teaching for children with hearing disabilities in DKI Jakarta. Thus, this program serves as a tangible contribution in supporting equal access to sports while simultaneously improving the quality of human resources in the field of adaptive physical education.
