Abstract

Community service activities include training for elementary school teachers in Geger Bitung Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency. The purpose of the training is to improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based mathematics learning. Professional ICT competence is a teacher^s ability to utilize information and communication technology for learning. This competency can strengthen a teacher^s overall competency. Good ICT competencies for teachers include mastering the basics of ICT, deepening knowledge of ICT, creating knowledge with ICT, and sharing knowledge about ICT. The training focuses on how elementary school teachers utilize ICT in mathematics learning. Teachers can utilize ICT to prepare for and/or during learning. With ICT, teachers can add teaching materials and find references about appropriate learning methods for their students. In learning, teachers can deliver materials more easily understood by students with the help of ICT utilization. The learning media delivered is Microsoft Sway, an online presentation application developed by Microsoft, included in the Microsoft 365 product series. Sway is included in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) category, an interactive presentation application from Microsoft that allows users to create and share various types of content, such as reports, personal stories, and presentations. Sway uses ICT to facilitate the creation and distribution of digital content. It is included in the ICT software category because it is a computer program that runs on an operating system.
