Abstract

Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3 composites are included in the category of magnetic materials with a perovskite structure that has great potential as a microwave absorber. Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3 as a magnetic material exhibits superior magnetic and dielectric properties, which are important for reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI). To improve the electromagnetic properties of Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3 composites, mixing with conductive polymers such as Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) is carried out. This research involves the synthesis process of Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3 by a solid-state reaction method using mechanical milling techniques. The characterization process includes analysis of crystal structure, micro morphology, and microwave absorption capacity. The addition of PVA in this composite aims to increase the flexibility of the material while maintaining its absorption capacity. Based on the research that has been done, the physical and electromagnetic properties of the composite are greatly influenced by the synthesis method, particle morphology, and the distribution of cations in the crystal structure. This research focuses on the effect of the combination of Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3 with PVA on microwave absorption efficiency, which is measured by the reflection loss value.
