Unlocking Educational Potential for The Introduction of Astronomy Through The Planetarium of UIN Walisongo Semarang a) Jember Astronomy Club Abstract This study aims to explore the educational potential of introducing astronomy through the use of the Planetarium at UIN Walisongo Semarang. Using a qualitative approach and field observation methods, the research directly examines how the planetarium function as an interactive and engaging learning medium. The findings indicate that the planetarium plays a significant role in enhancing students^ interest and understanding of basic astronomical concepts. Furthermore, the immersive learning environment and visual presentation contribute to a more enjoyable and meaningful educational experience. This study recommends the development of planetarium-based educational programs as an effective alternative for introducing science, particularly astronomy, across various levels of education.
