Abstract
The issue of stunting is a significant concern for developing countries, such as Indonesia. Indonesia has the third highest prevalence of stunting in the Southeast Asia Region (SEAR) among toddlers, with an average stunting rate of 21.6 percent in 2023, according to statistics collected by the World Health Organization (WHO). One of the regions with a troubling frequency of stunting is Tanjung Morawa District, which is part of Deli Serdang Regency. Information regarding the distribution of stunting in Tanjung Morawa District is the objective of this investigation. Interviews, field surveys, and observations comprise the research approach. Presentation, GIS-based data analysis, direct surveys at the research site, and preparation comprise the research steps. The results of this study are presented in the form of a stunting map, which gives information on the distribution of stunting based on regionally evaluated spatial parameters. This provides full spatial data on the spread of stunting in real-time. It is anticipated that this map would aid in the reduction of stunting rates in Tanjung Morawa District and the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a special emphasis on the third objective.
