Abstract
This research aims to analyze the role of Virtual Laboratory in enhancing data literacy skills and understanding of mathematical economics concepts among university students. With the rapid development of technology, Virtual Laboratory has become an innovative solution to create an interactive learning environment that can be accessed flexibly. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consists of students taking a mathematical economics course at a university. The research instruments include data literacy tests and tests of understanding mathematical economics concepts. The results show that the use of Virtual Laboratory significantly improves students^ data literacy skills and understanding of mathematical economics concepts compared to conventional learning methods. Virtual Laboratory enables students to conduct experiments, visualize data, and explore concepts independently, thereby increasing engagement and learning motivation. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating technologies such as Virtual Laboratory in mathematical economics learning to develop essential data literacy skills and conceptual understanding for students in facing the challenges of the digital era.
