Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of Augmented
Reality-based learning media on Fiber Optic material in class X, Computer Network Engineering & Telecommunications at SMKS Jambi Medan. This development and research uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). In this study, feasibility tests were carried out by 2 media experts and 2 material experts and accompanied by student acceptance. As a result, these three tests get scores in the range of 4.17-5.00 and meet the Very Decent criteria. In addition, effectiveness tests are also carried out to determine the level of effectiveness of the products developed. Test its effectiveness using N-Gain test on control and experimental classes. The control class scored 0.17 or 17%, while the experimental class scored 0.77 or 77%.
