Abstract

Industrial equipment currently uses automatic control systems in its operations. Development of this technology must be balanced with the competence of human resources as experts in their job. One of the competencies that electrical engineering graduates must have is control systems engineering. To fulfill graduate competencies, learning modules are needed that are in line with current industry needs. The aim of this research is to develop a basic learning module for an integrated obstacle system. The learning module that will be developed contains control system concepts, control system simulation and programming, case studies and team based project. The procedure for developing basic integrated control system learning modules in this research adapts the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this research indicate that the basic integrated control system learning module is in the feasible category based on validation carried out by five material experts and five media experts. Based on the results of trials carried out on students in learning classes, this learning module really helps students understand the basic material of control systems.
