Abstract

Material strength statics is a field of science that can solve cases in the real world through the case method. By utilizing digital technology, interactive learning media on material strength statics based on case studies can be developed. Considering the unavailability of interactive learning media for material strength statics courses based on case studies, an interactive learning media for material strength statics courses was developed using the four-D development model. The aim of this research is to validate the interactive learning media for the Material Strength Statics course based on case studies using the four-D development model. The validity of interactive learning media is obtained from three stages of the four-D development model, namely the define, design and develop stages. Media validity testing is carried out by material experts, learning design experts and learning media experts. The data collection technique for validity testing is carried out by distributing questionnaires. The criteria for assessing the validity of interactive media by experts use a Likert scale, with category values: 5 (very good), 4 (good), 3 (fairly good), 2 (poor) and 1 (very poor), which are analyzed descriptively. The research results show that the validity value of material experts is 89.17%, learning design experts are 85.30%, and learning media experts are 90.83%. It can be concluded that the interactive learning media developed is very valid for dissemination.
