Needs Analysis for Designing the International Office Website to Enhance International Services at a BLU University in North Sumatra Universitas Negeri Medan Abstract This study analyzes the requirements for designing a website for the International Affairs Office (KUI) to enhance international services at a North Sumatra Public Service Agency (BLU) university. A comprehensive needs analysis was conducted using a structured questionnaire, which gathered data from university staff, international students, and faculty members. The questionnaire covered website usage, user experience, service challenges, and design preferences. Results show frequent website use for accessing academic information, student portals, and university news. Users appreciated the available information but criticized the site^s navigational complexity and outdated design. Key challenges include inadequate support for international users and a need for interactive features. The study highlights the need for better scholarship information access, streamlined application processes, and enhanced communication tools. Design preferences favor a modern, minimalist style with a user-friendly, responsive interface. The findings underscore the necessity for a well-structured, aesthetically pleasing, and functionally robust website to support the university^s internationalization goals, providing actionable insights for development.
