Project-Based Environment Education to Improve Student^s Knowledge and Environmentally Caring Attitude In Taman Nasional Wasur Rikardus Feribertus Nikat-Laurensia Elya Puspita

Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine quantitatively and qualitatively project-based environmental education (PjBEE) to increase students^ environmental knowledge and caring attitudes in Wasur National Park. Environmental knowledge and attitudes are two important factors in increasing students^ knowledge and skills in increasing environmental awareness and care. The research method uses descriptive quantitative and qualitative research methods. The research subjects involved 45 class VII students at SMP Muhammadiyah Kertosentanan Merauke. Data collection techniques use tests, observation and filling out questionnaires. The research results show a positive influence with a t test value of 0.125 for environmental knowledge and 0.114 for caring attitudes towards the environment. These results show that the influence of using PjBEE can increase students^ environmental knowledge and caring attitudes in Wasur National Park.
